Support your local Green Party

The Conservative leader David Cameron has recently been moving the green agenda forward a little in the main political arena. However, his party is still comprised predominantly of blue dinosaurs, not least on the council benches of Wealden District and East Sussex County Councils. These councillors are nowhere near as forward thinking as their new leader claims to be. We need some green councillors in Wealden to chivvy them along, and keep them on their toes! This will only happen if you support your local Green Party and vote some green voices into positions of influence!

f you can’t become an active member, and give us some of your precious time, then you can at least make a donation to help us with campaign expenses, to pay for publicity to get our voices heard, to push forward the green agenda, and to raise the green profile within Wealden.

If you become a member, we’ll keep you informed of local social events, and political meetings. If you wish you can actively contribute to our activities, and most importantly of all, you could put yourself forward as a candidate for one of the local wards within Wealden during local elections. Because don’t forget, unless we field a significant number of candidates in local elections, many people within the constituency are denied the opportunity to place a green vote, and there is only one GREEN party.
