Vania moved to Forest Row with her husband and two daughters in 2001.
She is nearing completion of an Msc degree called Education for Sustainability at London South Bank University.
Since her election to Wealden District Council in 2007, Vania has served on the Environment Scrutiny Committee and was deeply involved in developing the council’s sustainability strategy, climate change policy and an accompanying action plan.
She also sits on the Licensing Committee, where she helps to determine various types of licenses from premises selling alcohol, to regulated entertainment and taxis.
Vania enjoys time with her family, walking, riding bikes, going on picnics as well as enjoying much of the local  entertainment on offer.
